Potato Band

Along with Rosie Carr, Natalie Kynigopoulou co-founded Potato Band, a collective of human and nonhuman hosts that work collaboratively with experimental electronic sound and performance. Together they explore the endless possibilities, various methods and ways of producing sound and homemade noise, challenging the production – consumption binary. It is a band and it is fun! Potato Band had its debut performance in 2018 as part of the exhibition Rotating Edible Object at Chalton Gallery, London. Potato Band’s most recent performance was at the IMT Gallery, as part of Benedict Drew’s exhibition Trapped in a Sticky Shed with Side Chain Compression, London, 2019.
